Christi came to us in February through a referral from a former LoveLine client. Christi contacted the suicide hotline because she was pregnant and felt she had nowhere else to turn. The woman on the other end of the line, now thriving, is a LoveLine graduate!

Christi is in nursing school with about a year left, and since starting with us, she has stayed involved, responsive, and committed to improving her situation. She’s receiving financial coaching and support as she navigates a domestic violence situation, along with counseling. For her safety, she’s been connected with DV organizations and has a safety plan in place. Her case manager checks in regularly, helps connect her with childcare resources, and continues to provide steady support.

Christi also consistently does her part to stay on track.

Recently, an injury has disrupted Christi’s ability to work, but she hasn’t allowed it to get her down. This month, Christi still needs help covering rent and her car payment—two essentials that keep her housed and her transportation reliable so she can get to school and appointments and continue moving toward graduation.
